It was founded in 2016 as Greenway Infrastructure Poland and changed its name in March 2018. GreenWay Polska started to deploy the infrastructure network in September 2017. Currently, each month a few stations are being installed and launched. In total, GreenWay in the next few years will have 19 ultra-fast chargers (up to 350 kW), about 295 quick chargers (50 kW), and about 309 semi-fast chargers (22kW) in Poland. More than 10 stations will be equipped with energy storage (GridBoosters). At present it is the largest operating charging network in Poland with almost 80 operating chargers and the pioneer of many services and technology solutions used in e-mobility. GWP operates both its own and 3rd party chargers, currently operating several dozens partners’ stations, IKEA and Intel among others. It provides professional customer service and 24/7 technical support to the drivers. As a company, it grows very rapidly, increasing its employment by 700% since 2016.
