In 1996, the construction of housing estates diversified the business, opening new development paths. Successful cooperation with the Ford Motor Company began in 2003 as part of the Jaguar brand which allowed the company to talk about extending the portfolio to Land Rover cars. The takeover of Jaguar Land Rover by the Indian automotive concern Tata Motors further improved the cooperation between the parties and allowed for even better use of the emerging market opportunities, which resulted in the growing sales of cars in the last decade. British Automotive Holding, through subsidiaries, leads on the Polish market, including the distribution of cars, spare parts and accessories as well as comprehensive service support for the Jaguar, Land Rover and Aston Martin brands. The companies which form part of this Group have served as the general importer of Jaguar Land Rover since 2003 and direct dealer of Aston Martin. The Group companies also operate the Jaguar Land Rover dealerships in Warsaw, Łódź and Gdansk. As of June 1, 2016, the status of British Automotive Polska (a subsidiary of British Automotive Holding) as the general importer of Jaguar Land Rover has been governed by a new agreement concluded with Jaguar Land Rover group. The contract was concluded for an indefinite period, with a two-year notice period. The development strategy for the automotive segment for the 2017-2021 marketing years assumes a doubling of Jaguar Land Rover vehicle sales.
